A stepladder 1:35 by Plusmodel: a laser-cut wooden sheet and a fret of photo-etched parts. An accessory for a diorama, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A stepladder leaning against a wall or opened up in the middle of a workshop explains at once what is going on in a scene: somebody is repairing, painting or hanging something. The set uses a combination of materials that makes sense: a laser-cut wooden sheet forms the load-bearing structure and really is wood, so once painted it has the right grain, and photo-etched parts add the thin hardware and hinges that could never come out of wood. It is not a kit but an accessory for a scene.
According to the manufacturer the package contains a laser-cut wooden sheet and a fret of photo-etched parts. Paints and glue are not included.
Break the wooden parts out carefully and cut the tabs through with a scalpel. Glue them with PVA wood glue and the photo-etched hardware with super glue. There is no point painting the wood over solidly: let the grain show through and use a thin glaze instead, or a stain. Working tools tend to be dirty with paint, so a few drops and smears on the treads will do the scene good. Better to leave the stepladder opened up and slightly askew, because tools standing perfectly straight look as if they came from a shop.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
