A resin detail set of stowed load and equipment for a model of the German Sd.Kfz 251 Ausf. C armored half-track in 1:35 scale. This is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory that adds rolled tarpaulins, crates, packs and other field equipment to the fighting compartment and the fenders, giving a model a lived-in, active look.
The Sd.Kfz 251 was the most widespread German armored half-track of the Second World War. The Ausf. C form had a characteristic one-piece sloping nose with protective covers and it came before the later simplified Ausf. D form; the vehicles routinely carried the equipment and supplies of the crew and of the infantry.
Wash the parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and place them in the fighting compartment according to photographs of the period. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. Tarpaulins and leather straps come out well with different shades and a fine wash.
