An Eduard photo-etched detail set for the StuG.IV in 1:35 scale. A metal accessory for refining the kit of the German assault gun, not a stand-alone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched metal parts from Eduard meant to refine the plastic kit of the German StuG.IV assault gun in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory that replaces coarser plastic features with thin photo-etched parts. The scope of the set is described in the enclosed instructions.
The StuG.IV was a German assault gun of the Second World War, which combined the chassis of the Panzer IV tank with a low casemate superstructure and a 75 mm gun. It served for direct fire support of the infantry as well as for destroying tanks; its low silhouette was an advantage in the defensive fighting of the late part of the war.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret, bend them on a bending tool and glue them with super glue. Detail the fenders and the side plates before the hull is closed up. Apply a primer before painting; for German camouflage, filters, a wash into the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear suit well.
The accessory does not hold the model itself, glue or paints. It is meant to complete an existing kit.
