An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-34/85 medium tank in the 1944 production version in 1:35 scale from Dragon. The set is usually supplemented with photo-etched parts and offers an elaborate turret with the 85 mm gun. The model will appeal to admirers of Soviet Second World War armor.
The T-34 is one of the most important tanks of the Second World War and became famous for its combination of sloped armor, good mobility and heavy armament. The T-34/85 version received a larger three-man turret and a powerful 85 mm gun, which offset the firepower advantage of the newer German tanks. The 1944 configuration was built in large numbers and played a key role in the final stage of the war.
Finish the running gear and the lower part of the turret before you close up the hull. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and the fine photo-etched parts with super glue. Apply the characteristic Soviet green with an airbrush over a primer; the welded joints of the hull and the cast turret are brought out by washes and pigments, which add realistic weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
