This set contains plastic links for assembling workable (movable) T84 tracks in the rubber version for models of the M4 Sherman tank with HVSS suspension in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the tank but a detail accessory for the running gear. The individual links are assembled into a continuous run that stays movable (workable), so it follows the shape of the rollers faithfully and sits better on the terrain of a diorama.
The M4 Sherman was the most widespread American medium tank of the Second World War. Late versions received HVSS (Horizontal Volute Spring Suspension) with wider tracks, which improved handling and the distribution of ground pressure on soft terrain. The T84 track was among the types used with rubber blocks (rubber type).
Clean the links of gates and any flash. Assemble them into a continuous run according to the instructions; the joints can stay movable, or they can be fixed with a drop of glue as needed. Spray the assembled track with an airbrush, bring out the recesses with a wash and finish the surface with pigments for mud and dust effects. Fit the tracks only once the running gear is finished.
The accessory does not contain the model, glue or paints. It serves to replace the tracks of the running gear.
