Taliban fighter (1:35) is a resin figure of an Afghan fighter, from Black Dog.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin figure of an Afghan fighter in traditional clothing, to be assembled and painted. It serves as the opposing side in modern dioramas of the Afghan conflict and brings scenes with hardware to life; it is not a model of a vehicle.
Afghan fighters wore civilian clothing, long shirts, vests and scarves, together with personal weapons and simple equipment. The figure captures a typical pose with the equipment of the period and suits creating tension in a scene.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the parting lines. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue, and sand with your airways protected. We recommend an acrylic base coat; paint the textiles in muted shades with a hint of wear and bring out the metal parts of the weapons with a dry brush.
It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
