Tent Set (Tamiya, 1:35) is a diorama accessory — a field tent set with equipment to bring a military scene to life. It is not a vehicle model, but a diorama accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic diorama accessory in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The set represents a field tent with equipment that you can use to complete a campsite, a command post or the support area of a military scene. It is not a vehicle model, but an accessory that gives a diorama its setting and story.
The tent and its equipment form a natural focal point for a scene — a place for the crew to rest, a field office or a place to store gear. The accessory combines well with vehicles, figures and other accessories in 1:35 scale, and helps fill out a scene and make it believable. The tent's appearance can easily be adapted to different periods and armies through painting.
Carefully separate the parts from the sprues and clean them up. Paint the tent canvas with an airbrush in matte shades (khaki, gray-green, canvas) and highlight the transitions between layers of fabric with a lighter tint. Washes in the folds and dry pigments will suggest dust, mud and worn canvas. A final matte varnish will unify the surface and tone down any unwanted shine.
This is a diorama accessory, not a vehicle model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
