What is on offer is a shaped scenic ground from the manufacturer Black Dog, not a model of a vehicle. The name anchors it in time and place to Vietnam in 1968 and refers to the period of the Vietnamese new year, around which extensive fighting then took place among city buildings.
A model standing on a glass shelf on its own tells nothing. As soon as you place it on a scene with period architecture, it gains context, a comparison of scale and a reason why it looks worn. The Vietnamese theme is also among the most rewarding for practicing color transitions, because it combines deep vegetation with faded masonry.
Choose a warmer base tone for the masonry and let it show through in places under the layer of dirt. You suggest the humid climate with darker streaks running down from the upper edges and a faint greenish cast in the corners the sun does not reach. Make the mud on the lower areas thin and in several light layers, not one heavy one. A final evening-out with matte clear binds all the shades together.
You obtain the models, the figures and the painting materials for the ground separately.
