A Tamiya photo-etched grille for the early production Tiger I (1:35) replaces the thick plastic covers of the engine and cooling louvers with fine metal parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched brass accessory set from Tamiya intended for detailing a model of the Tiger I heavy tank in its early form. It is not a tank kit but a set of thin metal grilles that replace the thick plastic covers of the cooling and engine louvers on the upper armor plate of the hull. The result is a realistic view into the space beneath the grilles and a delicacy that matches the scale.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War with its prominent 8.8 cm gun. The early production versions had a characteristic arrangement of equipment on the hull and turret; the upper covers of the engine and cooling compartment are among the most visible surfaces of a model.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the base model. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
