Eduard 1:35 Tiger I late is a photo-etched detail set for making plastic models of the German Tiger I heavy tank in the late form more precise, in 1:35 scale. This is an accessory, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard intended for models of the German Tiger I heavy tank in the late production form in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit of the tank but a set of fine sheet metal parts, which replace and complete simplified plastic features with more precise photo-etched parts.
The Tiger I (Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf. E) was a German heavy tank of the Second World War armed with the feared gun of 88 mm caliber. The late production versions brought a series of changes, among them all-steel road wheels. The Tiger I became a symbol of German armored strength, though the trade-off was complicated manufacture and demanding maintenance.
The photo-etched parts are cut out of the brass fret with a sharp knife, shaped with a bending tool and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). They come into their own on the fenders, the grilles of the engine compartment, the tool clips and other fine features. Degrease the parts before painting and spray them with a base coat.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit, which the set does not replace. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
