This is an add-on photo-etched set from the Upgrade Solution range, not a kit. It contains fine metal parts for refining a model of the German Tiger I heavy tank in the late-production version (Late Production), in 1:35 scale. It is made by Rye Field Model.
Upgrade sets for the Tiger usually bring thin fenders, engine cooling grilles, covers, handholds and tool clamps that replace the thicker plastic parts. The model thus gains the truer detail typical of the late versions of this tank, which was deployed in the second half of the Second World War.
Cut the parts off the fret, shape the bends over a ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and prime it; you will do the final weathering and the picking out of detail with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
The photo-etched set is an accessory. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
