Tiger II – Mantlet with Cast Marks is a resin accessory in 1:35 scale – a gun mantlet with faithfully reproduced casting texture for models of the heavy tank Tiger II. It is not a kit but a detail part for a finished model.

This is a resin detail part, not a tank model. The set brings a more accurate replacement for the mantlet of the main gun for models of the heavy tank Tiger II, with the rough texture of the cast surface and the marks from casting that were on the real machines faithfully captured. You fit it in place of the plastic part on a model that is already being built.
A cast gun mantlet is a visually dominant part of the turret. A resin casting reproduces the characteristic rough texture and the marks from manufacture far more faithfully than smooth injection-molded plastic, which gives a model an authentic look.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut the casting block away and clean the seating surface up. Bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and sand resin with respiratory protection. The casting texture is brought out nicely with a dark wash and drybrushing.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
