Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Israeli medium tank Tiran 4 in 1:35 scale from Takom. It is a detailed kit with an almost complete interior for the hull and the turret and with a great many parts, including generous photo-etch. Because of the number and delicacy of the parts it is intended for experienced modelers. Check the exact package contents and the number of decal options against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
Tiran 4 is the Israeli designation for captured Soviet T-54 tanks, which Israel obtained in some numbers above all during the Six-Day War in 1967. To bring them into its own service the vehicles were rebuilt: they received reworked equipment, changes to the armament and fittings for service with the Israeli army. They then served for a number of years alongside home-built vehicles, and some of them were later converted into armored personnel carriers.
First assemble and paint the running gear and the well-worked interior: finish the inside before you close the hull and the turret. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the fine photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Bring out the Israeli desert schemes after the clear coat with a wash in the panel lines and by applying pigments for dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
