A photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard intended to bring the interior of a plastic model of the UH-1C helicopter in 1:35 scale to life. It is not a helicopter kit but an aftermarket accessory with fine metal parts that raise the fidelity of the cockpit and the cargo cabin.
The Bell UH-1C is a version of the legendary Huey helicopter of the Iroquois family, developed as a gunship. It was deployed above all in the Vietnam War, where it served for fire support and escort. The roomy cabin and the open sides offer plenty of exposed details that a photo-etched set brings out.
Nip the parts out of the fret, clean them up and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The instrument panels, levers, seats and belts stand out once painted; colored photo-etched elements tend to have a self-adhesive layer. Make the bends precisely and pick up the small parts with tweezers.
This is an accessory, not a model. The helicopter kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
