Laser-cut model foliage from the manufacturer Model Scene in a recommended scale of 1:35. It is not a finished tree and not a kit — it is a loose scenery material. The Universal designation means that the leaves have a generic shape with no tie to a particular species: they do not imitate oak, maple or linden, but serve as neutral foliage usable anywhere. That is precisely their main strength — they never commit a scene to a particular kind of tree and can be mixed with other species without hesitation.
Sprinkle it through a fine sieve and fix it with thinned PVA glue or matte medium applied from a sprayer — a drop of glue straight onto a leaf would end up glossy. Universal foliage is ideal as a bulk base: put it down first and only then add a smaller quantity of a particular species on top, which gives the scene its readability. Lay individual leaves in exposed spots with tweezers. You can shift the shade gently with a light spray of thinned paint from a greater distance.
For builders of 1:35 dioramas and vignettes who need universal foliage in larger quantities, and for modelers making their own trees and bushes. It is also a good choice as a first bag of foliage, because it suits practically every summer scene.
