Resin Aerobonus FOD drums in 1:32 scale — collection bins for foreign objects and debris from the airfield area. An accessory for airfield dioramas; it is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory for a diorama, not a model. The set captures so-called FOD drums — collection bins placed around airfield areas into which ground personnel put the foreign objects they find (bolts, tools, fragments). The abbreviation FOD denotes foreign objects that can damage a jet engine by being drawn into the air intake. The castings in 1:32 scale serve to bring an airfield scene to life; on their own they are not an aircraft kit.
FOD drums will give a scene on the apron an authentic working atmosphere — they belong to the common equipment of aprons and taxiways at modern as well as historic airfields. Resin renders the texture of the sheet metal, the hoops and the warning lettering usually painted on the drums faithfully. The accessory goes superbly with figures of mechanics, servicing equipment and large-scale aircraft models.
This is a resin accessory, not a model. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
