An upgrade photo-etched and 3D-printed set for the StuG III Ausf. G in 1:35 scale from Rye Field Model adds fine metal and printed details to a model that injection-molded plastic cannot capture.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory set, not the model itself. It contains photo-etched metal parts completed with 3D-printed components with which you replace or refine selected parts of a plastic kit of the German StuG III Ausf. G assault gun. The aim is to raise the fidelity of the model in places where the injection-molded plastic is simplified from the factory.
The Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. G was the most widespread version of the German assault gun built on the chassis of the Panzer III tank. It carried a long-barreled 7.5 cm StuK 40 gun and from 1942 served both to support the infantry and as a tank destroyer. It was the most numerously built German tracked fighting vehicle of the Second World War.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret carefully with a sharp knife on a hard surface, and make precise bends with a bender or along a ruler. Use cyanoacrylate glue for gluing; small flat parts can also be fixed with varnish. Wash and clean up the 3D-printed components before gluing. Bear in mind that the set is made for more advanced builders.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
