Responsibility details are not available.
The package holds one figure of an American military cameraman in 1:35 scale, cast in modeling resin. The casting is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is an aftermarket accessory, not a kit of a vehicle; it brings a subject to a scene that appears only rarely in ordinary figure sets.
The figure represents a member of the film or photographic service of the American army of the Second World War with a camera in hand. From a modeling point of view it is interesting precisely for its combination of ordinary field dress and unusual equipment: a movie or a still camera changes the carriage of the body as well as the center of gravity of the figure and forces a different layout of the scene from the one an armed soldier offers. In a scene it works well as an observer who hints to the viewer where to look and breaks up an otherwise static composition.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the release agent from the mold is removed. Cut the casting block off with a fine saw or a cutting disc and level the surface; do the sanding wet and with a respirator. Glue the hands and the small equipment with cyanoacrylate super glue, and with small parts it pays to try the angle of the grip out dry before applying the glue. After a thin primer, paint the uniform with matte acrylics and the camera in a dark shade with a fine gloss on the metal edges, so that it is set apart from the cloth. Build the face up by layering glazes. Finally unify the surface with a matte varnish and add light dust on the boots.
The set is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin casting. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
