Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory set in 1:35 scale for the American light Dodge truck. It is not a kit — it is a collection of castings of cargo and kit for fitting onto a finished or part-built model. The brand offers several variants of sets for this subject aimed at different situations and equipment; this one is listed without further specification, so it is a general accessory set. The exact number and make-up of the parts are stated on the packaging of the set.
The light trucks of the Dodge family were among the most widespread American vehicles and in practice they ran loaded. A model with a completely empty bed therefore comes across as incomplete. The set fills the load area and the sides and gives the vehicle content — crates, tarpaulins, jerrycans and personal kit. Besides realism it also brings a visual gain: the different materials stand apart in color and break up the large uniform area of the base coat. Any spare castings can be used on their own in a diorama.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap — paint will not hold on remains of mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife; do not break them, as resin is hard but brittle. Sand wet and do not breathe the sanding dust. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue; ordinary cement for plastic has no effect on resin. Apply a primer before painting. Paint the cargo separately off the model and fit it only at the end, otherwise you will not reach the lower surfaces with a brush. Pull the whole thing together with a wash and a light dust pigment on the lower edges.
This is an accessory set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
