Firma49 American M1 helmet with a camouflage cover in 1:35 scale. A resin (3D printed) accessory for figures and dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin, 3D printed accessory from Firma49 in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a faithfully rendered American M1 helmet with a fabric camouflage cover. It serves to complete figures, as a piece of gear set down on a vehicle or as an element of a diorama. The exact number of pieces is stated by the manufacturer.
The M1 helmet was the standard American steel helmet used from the Second World War through a number of postwar conflicts. The camouflage cover helped to break up the outline of the helmet and blend it into the terrain. In 1:35 scale the accessory brings military scenes and figure compositions to life.
Before separating the supports it is worth dipping the parts briefly in warm water; the resin softens slightly and does not chip. Wash the mold release off the parts and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). You bring out the camouflage pattern on the cover with shading and dry brushing.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
