US M2A1 Ammo Boxes and Crates 1:35 is a resin detail set of ammunition boxes and transport crates from the manufacturer Bravo 6, complemented by a decal sheet. It is not a kit of equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of accessories in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Bravo 6, cast in resin. It is neither a model of a vehicle nor a kit but a diorama accessory - American M2A1 metal ammunition boxes and wooden transport crates, which are used to fill a cargo bed, to build a supply point or to bring the floor of an interior to life. A decal sheet with lettering is included.
The package covers closed transport crates and one crate in an open, unassembled pattern, into which two separate metal ammunition boxes are placed. It is precisely the open crate that is the main contribution of the set: it makes it possible to show the contents and to create a realistic detail that is missing with closed boxes. The waterslide decals serve to letter the boxes and the crates.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent and cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc, then sand the surfaces down wet and with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting. Paint the metal boxes smoothly and evenly, whereas the wooden crates will take an uneven base, glazing and fine rub-through - wood can be suggested with a dark wash drawn along the grain. Apply the decals onto a smooth, gloss base and pull them down with a softener, or they will not break over the edge of a box. Finally unify the surface with a matte varnish and add dust or mud according to the weathering of the surrounding scene.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a model of equipment are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
