Plastic kit of the American M3A3 Stuart light tank in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. The newly tooled, detailed kit is rounded out by a turret with an interior, photo-etched parts and an aluminum gun barrel; the decals offer several marking options.
The M3A3 was a later version of the M3 Stuart light tank with a revised, all-welded hull with sloped frontal armor and a new turret. Besides the US Army the vehicles served with a number of Allied units as well. They proved themselves as fast reconnaissance and escort tanks of the Second World War.
It is a good idea to paint the turret interior before closing it up. Use thin cement for plastic, fit the aluminum gun barrel and the photo-etched parts, prime the model and paint it with an airbrush. Fine-tune the weathering with washes and pigments on the running gear and the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
