Bravo 6 1:35 US Mine Detector Team is a resin figure set in 1:35 scale with figures of a mine detector crew.
Responsibility details are not available.
A figure set cast in resin in 1:35 scale from Bravo 6. It is not a model of a vehicle but a set of figures for a diorama or for a finished model. According to the name it is an American pair or group operating a handheld mine detector. The number of figures, the contents of the package and the division of the castings are stated on the box; the set is supplied unpainted and unassembled.
A scene with a detector is rewarding from a modeling point of view, because the figures have a clearly given activity and orientation: one figure guides the detector near the ground while the other usually covers or watches. That is exactly why they have to be arranged dry before gluing, to find a spacing at which the tableau holds together. A resin casting will support thin parts such as the handle and the search head of the detector, but those are at the same time the most fragile and should be cut off only just before gluing.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with dish soap and let them dry. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw and support the thin parts with a finger so that they do not crack. Sand wet and with your airways protected. It is glued with superglue, and gaps should be filled with putty. After a thin primer, paint the uniforms in a base shade and add shadow and highlight, then the equipment and the straps with acrylics and a fine brush. The instrument parts are set apart well by a darker, slightly glossier shade. Complete the base with the texture of the terrain, so that the tableau makes it clear the figures are moving over the ground.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
