Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic figure kit in 1:35 scale from Dragon depicts members of the American naval special forces (Navy SEALs) of the Vietnam War period. The box holds four figures in action poses together with weapons and gear such as an M60 machine gun with a supply of ammunition, a shotgun, an M16 rifle, flotation vests and load-bearing straps.
The SEAL naval special forces were formed in the early 1960s and in Vietnam became known for patrol and raiding operations in the river deltas and in the jungle. They worked in small teams and relied on concealment and heavy fire support. The figures reflect the typical light tropical gear and improvised armament of these units.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and dry-fit them before bonding. A coat of primer works well, followed by tropical camouflage patterns and khaki shades with fine shading and washes. Bring the weapons and gear to life with drybrushing and a light patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
