A set of injection-molded plastic figures of the Ukrainian manufacturer Master Box. It represents American paratroopers of 1944 with period kit and weapons. The figures suit dioramas of the European battlefield as well as an addition to hardware and rear-area scenes in the same scale.
American paratroopers of the airborne units played a key role in the Normandy landings and in the other operations of 1944. They were dropped behind the enemy lines, took crossroads and bridges and tied enemy forces down. The set captures their characteristic kit and their stances in the field.
Separate the parts from the sprue, clean them up and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. The uniforms come into their own after a base tone is applied, after lightening and after a wash in the folds; paint the small items of kit in with a brush. An airbrush makes smooth base coats easier.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
