The containers for water offered are distinguished by the supplier designation Nesco and the year 1944. They serve as an accessory to finished equipment and as a tiny prop for scenes, not as a kit of a machine. The data on twelve pieces comes from the name.
This type of equipment acquired characteristic streaks in service: drops running down below the closure, darker bands along the weld seams and a lighter rubbing in the places where the container was often taken hold of. To achieve the effect a weakly thinned darker mix applied from the top down and then wiped off for the most part proves itself, so that only a hint remains. Exaggerated running into every recess, by contrast, pulls the whole impression down.
The containers combine splendidly with crates, tarpaulins and rolled shelter halves. Arrange them into an irregular group, lay one on its side and leave another turned, so that the viewer sees both sides. The relief of the load that arises matters more for the overall impression than the number of pieces used. If the scene shows unloading, leave one container in the hands of a figure and another already standing on the ground; the movement will then be legible at first glance and the viewer will fill in the rest of the action himself.
