A resin kit of the American one ton cargo trailer known by the nickname Ben Hur in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Plusmodel, intended for experienced modelers. You can build the trailer as a stand-alone model, hitch it behind an American truck or use it as the natural center of gravity of a supply scene.
The one ton cargo trailer for which the nickname Ben Hur took hold was among the most widespread trailer equipment of the American army of the Second World War. It was made in enormous numbers and was towed behind practically everything the American army operated, from medium trucks to heavier tractors. It carried ammunition, provisions, engineer materiel and field kitchens and it went through every theater with American units from North Africa to western Europe; a number of examples served with armies long after the war as well.
Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; use protection for your airways while sanding. The base for the color is American olive drab. Treat the chassis and the wheels with a wash and muddy pigments, liven the body up with scuffs and complete the load with boxes, drums or a tarpaulin, as a trailer with no load looks half empty.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
