The set holds four pivoting external pylons for FB-111 models. The parts are printed from resin by 3D printing with fine detail and replace the simplified parts of a plastic kit.
The FB-111 is the strategic bomber version of the American combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing. The pylons on the movable part of the wing pivot so that the external stores and tanks stay aligned with the direction of flight at every sweep angle. A faithful rendering of these pylons raises the realism of a model markedly.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate the supports and sand the surfaces down. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and use a primer before painting.
The set holds resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
