Injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from Master Box. The box contains figures of a British machine gun crew with the Vickers heavy machine gun, rounded out by a separate weapons set and a spare machine gun mount. The scene is set in the fighting in North Africa in the years 1940 to 1943.
The Vickers heavy machine gun was a proven weapon of the British army, which served as mobile fire support for most of the first half of the 20th century. In the North African desert campaigns both ordinary and special units came across it. The set captures a machine gun crew in action and is rounded out by figures of hit opponents, which makes it a rich storytelling combat scene.
Separate the figures and the weapons from the sprue, clean up the mold lines and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting. A desert scene will show best with faded sand shades, fine dust and weathering on the gear and the weapons alike. Paint the faces by layering and add the shadows of the folds of the uniforms.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
