A set of figures, Normandy 1944, 1:35 scale is a resin set from the maker PANZER ART. It brings the figures offered singly as well into one scene in 1:35.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of figures in 1:35 for a diorama or for a scene with a vehicle. It is not a kit of equipment. The set matches the figures that the manufacturer also offers separately, and it is meant for anyone who wants to build a group rather than a single figure.
A group of figures in the same camouflaged clothing is easier to paint all at once than one after another. The pattern is a combination of three to four tones, and mixing it a second time exactly the same is difficult. The set does away with that problem: a modeler mixes the paints in reserve and gets the whole group done in one sitting. The second advantage is compositional — the figures are designed so that they can be laid out into a legible scene around a vehicle, not merely stood side by side.
Wash all the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off, sand them down and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Spike the figures onto sticks or corks, so that they can be turned without touching the paint. Proceed in layers across the set: primer on all of them, the base of the fabric on all of them, then the dark areas of the pattern, the lighter blotches and finally the stippling. Let it dry between the coats, or the blotches will run together. Deal with the leather and webbing accessories only once the pattern is finished. Leave the faces for the very end and paint them in one sitting from the same mixed flesh tone, so that the heads do not differ. Finish the set with a matte clear coat from the same bottle.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. The paints, the glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
