One figure of the commander of a Panther tank in the Waffen-SS version, 1:35 scale, set thematically in Operation Zitadelle.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Panther was a German medium tank of the Second World War, recognizable by its sloping frontal armor and its long gun barrel. The figure represents the commander of such a machine in the version of the tank units of the Waffen-SS, and the name places it with the German offensive on the eastern front that carried the code designation Zitadelle and took place in 1943.
According to the name it is one figure in 1:35 scale. In this scale an adult figure measures roughly five centimeters, so the face, the hands and the cut of the uniform all stand out on it. A figure set in place at the same time gives the model its scale: only by a man is it clear at first glance how large the tank really was. A commander in a hatch is moreover an easy way of getting movement and a direction of gaze into a static model.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully; choose the method of gluing according to the material of the parts, which the manufacturer's instructions state. Wash and degrease the figure before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold. Work from the ground through a dark wash into the folds to the lightening of the raised places. Leave the face until last and work in good light; the eyes are painted with the thinnest brush you have, and best of all in two goes.
For builders of German equipment from the eastern front and for dioramas where a vehicle is to be occupied by its crew. The model of the tank, the paints, the glue and the tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
