A set of injection-molded plastic figures of German mounted infantry in 1:35 scale from the brand Tamiya. The box contains one horse and two soldier figures, one of them a rider in the saddle and the other standing. The set offers alternative ways of assembling the rider, which broadens the possibilities for use in a diorama.
The Wehrmacht in the Second World War still made wide use of horses, both for transport and with some infantry and reconnaissance units. The set captures a mounted officer and a standing figure with period armament. The model serves as a factual historical and diorama rendering of period soldiers, without evaluative intent.
Separate the parts from the sprues carefully and clean them up; plan the assembly of the rider in advance so that the figure seats properly in the saddle. According to the instructions the rider can be assembled with his hands on the reins, with a pistol or with binoculars, and the stirrups and the saddle are separate parts. Glue with modeling cement for plastic, apply primer and paint the uniforms and the horse's coat in layers, working the faces with successive glazes.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
