A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:35 scale. It is not a stand-alone model but a detail accessory for a plastic model of the Willys light off-road vehicle in the version of the British SAS special unit. Photo-etched sheet makes a faithful rendering of the holders, the handles and other thin items of the equipment possible.
The Willys was an American light off-road car used on a mass scale in the Second World War. The British SAS modified jeeps for long-range desert raids, fitting them with machine guns and an extended supply of fuel and water for operations deep behind enemy lines.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife, bent over a ruler or in a bending tool and glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the sheet before painting and apply a primer. Dust washes and pigments suit the desert look.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
