A resin casting of a female figure with cybernetic elements in 1:35 scale, meant for a display scene rather than for hardware. Sequence number two follows on from the first figure of the same pair; both are sold separately and can be set into a shared scene. The item is supplied without paint, in the shade of the material.
Fantasy subjects take effects that would look out of place in a period scene. Working with a light source within the scene suggests itself: a lit panel, a display or a muted glow beneath the figure cast onto the lower surfaces of the face and hands. The effect is created purely with paint; no electronics are needed. A dark base with a light accent can turn a single figure into a striking scene.
First rid the casting of grease in a lukewarm bath with a degreaser. Cut off the casting remains, sand the seams, extract the dust and protect your breathing. Apply the base coat thinly so that the fine modeling stays legible. Finish glossy areas such as lenses or glass only after the matte varnish, with gloss varnish applied spot by spot; it is the contrast of gloss beside matte fabric that tells the eye the materials apart. Glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue.
Paints, varnishes and terrain material are not included in the box; the casting is unworked.
