This set contains replacement wheels and tires in resin for building a model of the German L4500 R Maultier heavy cargo truck in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory that takes the place of the wheels from the Zvezda kit. The tires have a shaped bulge where they touch the road, for the realistic look of a loaded vehicle.
The L4500 was a heavy cargo truck from Mercedes-Benz. The Maultier version, meaning mule, had a tracked running gear at the rear for moving through the mud and terrain of the Eastern Front, while keeping steered wheels at the front. The vehicle served the Wehrmacht in the Second World War for supply and transport.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Paint the tire tread and the rim separately; masking helps. Sand with your airways protected.
This is an add-on set of wheels, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
