This is a resin figure of a British tank crewman from the fighting in northwest Europe at the end of the Second World War, in 1:35 scale. It suits the turret or the hull of a British tank.
After the Normandy landings the British armored units fought their way through northwest Europe. Tank crews wore a characteristic coverall and berets. The figure captures a tank crewman in a pose suitable for placing in the turret of a vehicle.
This is a resin figure for more experienced modelers. First wash the parts in lukewarm water with a little dish soap to remove any mold release agent from the mold. Carefully cut off the casting blocks and the pour stubs and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, and use a primer suitable for resin as the base. The figure can be painted by brush or airbrush, and faces and shadows model well with oil paints and glazes.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin casting. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
