A set of photo-etched parts to complete a model of the German medium tank Pz.Kpfw.IV in the Ausf.J form. According to the name it is prepared for the Border kit under the number BT-006, and it is the basic extent, that is a set marked Basic in the name. The drawing enclosed by the manufacturer is binding.
The Ausf.J was the last mass production version of the Four. It was already being built with simplified wartime production in mind: the auxiliary generator for the electric turret traverse disappeared from it in favor of a larger volume of fuel, so the turret was traversed by hand. Later machines received lightweight wire mesh side skirts and a simplified running gear. It is precisely these thin elements that are always thicker in plastic than they should be, and photo-etched metal replaces them in a scale thickness.
A photo-etched set is supplied. The kit, glue, paints and a bending tool are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
