An accessory in 1:35 scale which will carry the characteristic Zimmerit texture onto a model of the heavy assault vehicle Sturmtiger. The pattern is prepared so as to match the shapes of the massive superstructure and the sides of the hull as well.

A vehicle with rockets of 38 cm caliber

The Sturmtiger came about by rebuilding the chassis of the Tiger I tank. Into its angular superstructure it received a rocket launcher of 38 cm caliber, derived from a naval project. The projectile was to destroy fortified buildings and was fired from a short distance, so the machine was intended for fighting in built-up areas. Very few of them were built, and that makes them all the more attractive a subject for modelers today.

How to apply the texture

First bring the model into a state where the vertical surfaces are smooth and varnished over; a decal will settle only on such a surface. Proceed by partial surfaces, use a decal softener and draw the excess water off with the edge of a paper towel. Around the hatches and the rivets a small incision with a pointed knife will help, so that the material settles without bubbles and does not lift at the corners.
