1:32 WWII USAAF oxygen cylinder A-4 PRINT is a separate interior detail: an American oxygen cylinder of the A-4 type in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory from the Eduard brand adds to a model an American oxygen cylinder designated A-4 from the Second World War period, in the large 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a single item of equipment with which a cockpit, a fuselage walkway or a crew station is completed.
American combat aircraft flew at altitudes where work was impossible without an oxygen system. The cylinders were placed along the fuselage walls, under seats and in the gunners' compartments, and on a number of machines they stayed in plain view. In the large 1:32 scale empty areas of an interior give themselves away at once, so a separately made cylinder pays off wherever there is an open canopy or a hinged panel.
Separate the part carefully from its carrier block with a sharp cutter or a fine saw, sand the cut and degrease the surface before painting. The joint is held by cyanoacrylate glue, and a drop with filler will serve to fill a gap. Apply the primer in a thin coat so the surface texture is not lost. Choose the shade and any markings according to references for the particular machine, because they differed between types and periods.
Paints and glue are not included in the package.
