This resin set from the manufacturer Pavla models adds a detailed cockpit, together with a vacuum-formed clear canopy, to a model of the British heavy bomber Handley Page Halifax in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for refining the forward section of the base model.
The Handley Page Halifax was a British four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. Alongside the Lancaster it formed the backbone of the night raids of Bomber Command and it also served in maritime and transport roles. It was built in large numbers and in a number of versions.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the flash down with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Cut the vacuum-formed canopy out carefully along the outline with a sharp knife and glue it with a clear glue. Paint the interior before closing it up.
This is an accessory resin set, not a standalone kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
