An injection-molded plastic model of the modern agricultural tractor Yanmar YT5113A in 1:35 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa. In the Rotary version the machine is complemented by a rotary tiller, a rotary harrow, on the rear hitch. The model has rubber tires turning on polycaps, steerable front wheels and an enclosed driver figure, so that it looks lively even in a display case.
The Yanmar YT5113A is a present-day Japanese agricultural tractor with a markedly modern body design. It serves for plowing, cultivation and other field work; with a rotary implement hung on the rear three-point hitch it loosens and prepares the soil. Yanmar is among the traditional Japanese manufacturers of agricultural and powered equipment.
Glue the plastic parts with modeling cement for plastic and clean up the parting lines. Spray the bold red of the body with an airbrush over a primer and polish it out; set the metal and plastic covers apart by shade and by mattness. Paint the driver figure with a brush. A realistic impression will be supported by fine weathering - dust and mud effects on the tires and the underside, according to how muddy you want the machine to be.
