This product is a colored photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard holding figures of a modern US Navy carrier deck crew in 1:350 scale. It is not a model of a ship but a set of pre-printed metal figures with three-dimensional 3D shaping that brings a deck and a diorama to life.
Miniature figures of deck personnel, for example signalmen, aircraft handlers and other crew members in colored jerseys, give the deck of a carrier scale, life and a story. The color printing makes it possible to populate a deck realistically without having to paint every figure by hand.
The figures are separated carefully from the fret and formed into three dimensions following the instructions supplied. They are bonded to the deck with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is best to lay the arrangement out so that logical scenes form around the aircraft and the deck.
This is an accessory for a diorama, not a model in its own right. The ship, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
