A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masking templates (kabuki masks) in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer New Ware. It is not an airplane kit but a masking set for spraying a plastic model of the EA-6B Prowler carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft. The Expert version is the most extensive variant: besides masks for the cockpit including the frames and the seals it also contains masks for the inner side of the glazing, for further clear parts, for the wheels and masks for spraying the camouflage. Masks for the inner side of the glazing make it possible to spray the cockpit frames from inside as well as outside, which raises the realism of the four-seat Prowler markedly. The camouflage masks help to reproduce the coloring without laborious covering, and the wheel masks make a clean coat on the tires and the hubs easier.
The Grumman EA-6B Prowler is a carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft derived from the A-6 Intruder attack aircraft. It has a four-seat cockpit and served for a long time with the US Navy and the US Marine Corps for jamming and suppressing hostile air defenses.
