The Eduard 1:350 HMS Dreadnought 1907 photo-etched set brings a set of fine details for a plastic model of the British battleship HMS Dreadnought. It is an accessory, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of photo-etched parts from Eduard in 1:350 scale serves to render a model of the battleship HMS Dreadnought in finer detail. It is not a ship model but an accessory for a finished plastic kit. Main detail sets of this type usually bring railings, ladders, platforms, boat fittings, cranes and other fine elements that raise the model to collector level.
HMS Dreadnought was a British battleship completed in 1906 whose design made every previous ironclad obsolete. She was the first to carry a uniform main armament of large caliber and was driven by steam turbines, which gave her an advantage in both firepower and speed. A whole era of battleships was named after her.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, bend the fine sections over a photo-etch bending tool and attach them with tiny drops of cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Given the large number of small parts, plan the work and proceed section by section. Paint is best applied with an airbrush so that the details stay clean.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a kit. The ship model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
