An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese battleship Ise as she was in 1944, in 1:350 scale from the Japanese maker Fujimi. The model is supplied as an unassembled kit to glue and paint. Check the exact package contents and the extent of the photo-etched parts on the particular box.
The Ise was a Japanese battleship of the Second World War. During the war she went through a conversion into a hybrid battleship with a flight deck aft, which allowed her to carry aircraft. Her 1944 state corresponds to exactly this later, converted form.
The hull can be built as a full hull or in the waterline version. In 1:350 scale, add-on photo-etched parts for the railings, the ladders and the superstructure are worth having. Paint with an airbrush and shade the decks and the sides with a wash. Add a display stand to the model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
