The Eduard 1:350 Prinz Eugen railings photo-etched set is a specialized collection of metal railings for a model of the cruiser Prinz Eugen. It is photo-etched parts, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard specializes in the railings for a 1:350 plastic model of the German heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen. It is not a model or a kit: it is a collection of thin brass photo-etched railings with which you replace the plastic or missing railings around the deck and the superstructure and give the model a realistic appearance correct for its scale.
The Prinz Eugen was a German heavy cruiser of the Admiral Hipper class, known above all for escorting the battleship Bismarck in 1941. Faithfully rendered railings are among the elements that most affect the sense of scale on a model of a large warship.
The railings make a good complement to the main detail set. Shape the strips of railing carefully to the outline of the deck and glue them with tiny drops of super glue. They are best painted once glued on, so that the paint holds. Work patiently and with tweezers.
The accessory is supplied as a set of photo-etched parts, unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
