Eduard 1:350 Royal Navy railing is a photo-etched accessory for refining the decks of British warship models. It is not a model but a detail set in brass.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a kit. Precisely etched railing in thin brass sheet replaces coarse plastic or entirely missing deck railing on models of British warships in 1:350 scale. It is made by the Czech company Eduard, which ranks among the world leaders in photo-etched parts.
The railing is supplied in strips on a photo-etched fret and is cut to the length needed for a particular deck. The material holds its shape and can be bent into curves around superstructures and along the sides of a hull. Adding fine railing is one of the details that most raise the realism of a finished model.
Carefully cut the parts from the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface; a photo-etch bender helps with bending. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with a special adhesive made for photo-etching. Brass is worth degreasing before painting and spraying with a primer, after which the railing is painted in the final deck color.
This is an accessory, not a ship model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
