A large plastic kit of the Russian nuclear missile cruiser Pyotr Velikiy of the Kirov class from Trumpeter in 1:350 scale. In this scale the result is a giant full-hull model around 72 cm long. The box holds injection-molded plastic parts, photo-etched parts, the ship's helicopter and a stand with a name plate; check the exact contents on the box.
Pyotr Velikiy is the fourth ship of the Kirov class (Project 1144) to be built, the largest surface combatants in the world apart from aircraft carriers. They are driven by a combination of nuclear and steam propulsion and carry exceptionally heavy missile armament. The ship was originally laid down under the name Yuri Andropov and today serves as the flagship of the Russian Navy.
Build the giant model in sections: the hull, the deck, the extensive superstructures, the funnels, the radars and the launch systems. Use liquid cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend a primer base and spraying with an airbrush in shades of gray; railings and fine trim add realism. Paint the ship's helicopter separately. The model is full-hull and is displayed on the stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
