Peugeot 306 Maxi Evo II conversion 1:24 from Decalcas: resin and printed parts that turn the model into the later version.
Responsibility details are not available.
A conversion set that turns a model of the Peugeot 306 Maxi rally car into the later Evo II form. It holds two resin parts, namely the front bumper and the rear wing, plus a printed instrument display part and decals for its readout. It is not a kit: without a basic 1:24 plastic model of the car you cannot use the set.
The Peugeot 306 Maxi belonged to the class of front-wheel-drive rally cars that became a refuge for the manufacturers in the 1990s after the wilder specials came to an end. The cars had flared fenders, substantial aerodynamic addenda and naturally aspirated engines revved high. Among other things, the Evo II form brought aerodynamic changes, and those are precisely what this set replaces on the model.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the mating surfaces. The printed part has no casting blocks but thin print supports, which you cut away with a sharp knife. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Dry-fit the parts to the model first and work out how much plastic has to be removed, because a conversion always means losing some of the original parts as well. Apply a primer before painting.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and it is an accessory, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
