An accessory for building a model of the racing Honda RC213V in 1:12 scale. The manufacturer's instructions give the extent of the set and what the parts are for.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Honda RC213V is a factory racing prototype for the premier class of road motorcycle racing, campaigned since 2012. The V in the designation corresponds to an engine with four cylinders arranged in a V. A racing machine of this kind has almost nothing to spare: a bare frame, the swingarm, the exhaust routed close to the carbon covers and bodywork in the team's color scheme. On a model, therefore, the cleanliness of the small parts is what counts, because there is nothing to hide them behind.
An accessory for the RC213V model in 1:12 scale, that is in the size in which racing motorcycles are usually built and in which even a part a couple of millimeters across is visible. Which part or which group of parts is in the package, and which kit the accessory is measured for, is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
If the parts are not polystyrene, ordinary kit cement has no effect on them; bond them with super glue applied in the tiniest drops. Cut excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand off the marks of manufacture with fine abrasive paper. Before painting, wash the surface in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let it dry. Try the fit dry, because inside bodywork the clearance is often only a few tenths of a millimeter.
For builders of racing motorcycles in a large scale who want to take a finished model beyond the level of an out-of-the-box build. Paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
